VerticalAPI charges a flat platform fee for gateway features (vertical routing, observability, multi-key orchestration, rate limits, MCP server). If you call vertical/code-review behind GPT-5, you pay OpenAI for the tokens, full stop.

Yes. Pro is billed monthly with no annual lock-in. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the dashboard and the change takes effect at the next billing cycle — you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Enterprise plans support both monthly and annual contracts.
Provider keys are encrypted at rest with per-workspace scoping and used only to make upstream calls on your behalf. VerticalAPI never logs raw key values, never returns them via the API and never trains on your data. You can rotate or revoke a key at any time from the dashboard — the change is instant.
